Brian Washington – Minister of Students

Brian and his family first visited The Crossing in the spring of 2012, and became members soon after. Brian quickly became involved with the men’s ministry, and soon got involved with the youth ministry as the youth were his true passion.  Over the next few years, Brian would actively be involved in assisting with children, youth, and fun family activities at the church, Such as VBS, Family game day, and Disciple Now.

Brian is a lifelong Christian who accepted Christ at an early age. Married to his dream girl Alma for more than 30 years, they have three wonderful kiddos Alexa, Diego, and Brian Jr.  A Dallas Skyline High School graduate, Brian also has a Bachelors, and Master’s degree of Social Work from Texas A&M Commerce. A Mesquite resident for more than 30 years, Brian is passionate about serving  Christ, mentoring, and guiding our youth, as well as providing them with the tools they need to succeed in life. Youth ministry is more than meeting kiddos on Wednesday evenings, and Sunday Mornings, it’s about being there for them 24/7 to help them navigate theirs lives!
