Ministry Teams
The Crossing is led by its staff and six Ministry Teams.  The teams represent  Administration, Education, Fellowship and Ministries, Gifts, Missions and Evangelism and Worship.  Attempts are made to find a place for every believer that is both fulfilling to the individual and which builds up the body of Christ.  Included among a diversity of ministries is our support of the Interfaith Housing Coalition, KidsHeart in the Rio Grande Valley, community outreach events, the Mesquite Police Department, Cub Scout Pack 1115, New Orleans inner-city ministry, Union Gospel Mission’s Center of Hope, Cornerstone Baptist Church in Dallas and more…

Children
The Children’s Ministry at The Crossing recognizes children to be one of our greatest resources.  We have an excellent team of dedicated, well-trained workers who know your children on a first name basis, who pray for them regularly and who teach them at their level of comprehension.

Our Children’s Ministry offers Sunday school for all ages on Sunday morning at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday evenings children may be involved in children’s choir, bible drill, Kid’s Quest, Mission Friends and more.

Children’s Worship is offered for children ages 4 through 2nd grade on Sunday’s simultaneously with our 10:45 worship service.  (Children’s Worship is not offered during the summer vacation months).

In addition to weekly activities, The Crossing sponsors a great summer Vacation Bible School, participates in Mt. Lebanon’s Children’s Camp, involves children in hands on mission projects and performs an annual musical.

Men's Ministry
The men of The Crossing are learning to be authentic followers of Jesus Christ. We encourage men to be faithful in their relationship with Christ, with their family and their church. Special activities provide men with great opportunities to be challenged, trained, and to learn how to grow as men in the grace and knowledge of Jesus.

Men's Fellowship meets Thursday at 7:00 p.m. in room 203
Men's Breakfast meets every other Saturday at 6:00 a.m. Next meeting, October 6th.

Women's Ministry
The women of The Crossing have dedicated themselves to recognizing that they are Women of Worth based on what Christ has done for us. Their purpose is to emulate the model of women of worth as described in Proverbs 31 through study, ministry, fellowship, prayer, and community involvement.
